Her recent engagements include the role of Zina in Nico Muhly's Dark Sisters with Opera Fayetteville, Soprano Soloist in Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass and Soprano Soloist in Mozart's Missa Solemnis under the baton of Gregory Geehern of the Princeton Festival, with PMSA, Nicole in Jason Cady's modulated synth-accompanied Candy Corn with Experiments in Opera at the Flea Theatre in NYC, the role of Zina in the world premiere of Meira Warshauer's Elijah's Violin at the Presidio of San Francisco, under the baton of Jonathan Khuner and direction by Yefim Maizel, George Crumb's Apparition at the Annenberg Center to celebrate the
composer's 90th birthday, and several more world premieres. Following several cancellations due to Covid-19, she pivots into the digital era with the role of Zerlina in a virtual production of Don Giovanni, with Subito Concert Opera.
Alize recently made her debut at Carnegie Hall performing as soprano 1 soloist in Berio's Sinfonia, in Pierrot Lunaire at the Kennedy Center with Curtis 20/21 ensemble in her own original text adaptation, and created the roles of Lila in Jennifer Higdon's Cold Mountain in workshop, as well as Andy 1 in Andy: A Popera, premiering at Opera Philadelphia and reprising at Seattle Symphony's [untitled 3] series. The virtual performance era, sparked by the Covid-19 pandemic, has inspired Alter Ego Chamber Opera, the chamber opera company for which Alize is co-founder, to convert their planned performance of Mosaic of Modern Opera as part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, to an entirely virtual premiere. The premiere took place on September 19th, 2020, and featured five brand new opera works by the winners of their Spring call-for-scores competition, included an audience participation element via Zoom, and was entirely filmed, directed, and conceived of by Alter Ego Chamber Opera.
